About Delaware
 Although often considered a northern suburb of Columbus, Delaware retains its identity as a town whose roots began to grow in 1808. Once an agricultural county village and now the fastest growing county in Ohio, Delaware offers a rich history with a promising future. High School students often enroll in classes at Ohio Wesleyan University, located in the heart of Delaware. With the feel of a small town but in proximity to the state’s capital, Delaware stays true to its humble beginnings while welcoming the opportunities that lay ahead.
